Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, recently inaugurated the Arab Basalt Fiber Company, marking a new era in sustainable industrial development. As the first and largest integrated facility for producing Basalt Fibers and rebars in the MENA region—and the highest-output facility of its kind globally—this milestone aligns with the UAE Vision 2030 and the UAE Centennial 2071.
The inauguration highlights Fujairah’s dedication to embracing cutting-edge technologies that drive economic and industrial progress.
